On Saturday morning we flew from Rio De Janeiro to Sao Paulo. We were supposed to do a live TV appearance on a show called Brothers. Our plane was late and we almost didnt make it. The TV studio was a long distance from the airport. It was a wild ride to the studio:-) but we made it! We had minutes to get ready and change our clothes. They brought us out on the set during a 4 minute commercial break. It was chaos as we tried to plug in -tune up and adjust the equipment that was on set.

Then they had us run through a bit of the song so they could get a level and then it was back to the green room as the show went back live on the air.We waited and watched the show on the monitor. It was a kind of talent show of sorts. We were not part of the contest. Finally they came and said "ok lets go".They brought us out on the set which was filled with young people. They gave us some brief intructions of what was going to happen and then it was go time. There was no time to be nervous about it. Looking at the video I can tell that I was as I made a few mistakes. It was a blast!

Later that night at the gig, I spotted the host Supla in the crowd as we did our 4th oncore song "Paint it black". The gig itself was one of those shows where there was a special connection between the fans and the band. We knew that the people in the crowd had been waiting for us to come to Brazil for years and we gave it everything we had. It was a show we wont forget.
